01What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of data a website stores in your browser so it can remember things between visits — who's signed in, what's in a cart, which settings you chose. Browsers also offer similar tools like local storage; we use the word “cookies” for all of them here.
02How TOFO uses them
- Essential — keeping you signed in, keeping your Shop cart intact, and protecting against abuse. The site can't work without these.
- Preferences — remembering small choices, like the fact you've already watched the homepage intro so we don't replay it every visit.
- Performance — understanding which features are used and which pages struggle, so we improve the right things.
03What we don't do
- No selling of your browsing data.
- No ad-network tracking cookies following you around the internet.
- No storage that exists just to profile you.
04Third-party services
A few features rely on external services — payment processing on Shop, for example. Those providers may set their own cookies under their own policies, strictly for the feature you're using.
05Managing cookies
Every modern browser lets you view, block and delete cookies in its settings. You're free to clear ours at any time — just know that blocking essential cookies will break things like signing in and checkout.
06Changes to this policy
If how we use cookies changes, this page changes with it — with a fresh date at the top.
